Find inspiration from several creative, easy, and multi-sensory memorization ideas. You’ll learn how to use a Scripture Memory Box to increase the verses you can remember for a lifetime. And we will spend some time practicing memory techniques. (2 hours)
Scripture Illustration
Learn how to use color and lettering to create beautiful Bible verse cards as a creative expression of worship. Then, use the cards to help hide God’s Word in your heart or decorate your home, office, kitchen, or own prayer studio. Themes: Thy Will Be Done or Take Every Thought Captive. Students are invited to bring their own creative supplies or use the ones provided to make a few cards during class. (2 hours)
Creating Space to Dwell with God
Discover ideas for how to make space in your home and life for dwelling with God, being transformed, and living on mission. You’ll learn about six prayer studio themes with ideas you can implement right away. (1 hour)
Creating Spiritual Habits
Discover how to assign spiritual meaning to everyday items and routines. You’ll learn to see items in your home, life, and even wardrobe as symbols of truth to remind you of Scripture and its principles whenever you use (or eat!) them. (1 hour)
Book Studies
Gather some friends or join a group to read and meet weekly to discuss a spiritual formation book. Meeting times and locations are set by group and leader. Most studies follow the format of reading a chapter per week and then meeting for discussion and prayer once a week. (1.5 hours)
