Welcome to my sunny little corner of the internet! Sunshine + Salt was birthed in the fall of 2022 after 20 years of homeschooling and part-time work helping ministries tell the story of what God has been doing to build His Kingdom in places near and far. I’m Jenn. And this is where I carve out some space to tell some stories of my own while creating and sharing resources.
Be Sunshine + Salt is all about encouragement and resources to help you seek the Lord, be transformed by His Word, and to find ways to live on mission a little more every day. Our goal is to shine light on things that encourage you to walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8). You’ll find ideas to cheer you on wherever you are in your journey!
The Arrowlight Studio is a stand-alone space on our property designed to provide a sacred, private space to seek the Lord away from the demands, interruptions, and to do lists of your home, office, and, yes, even your favorite coffee shop. Come spend an hour or an afternoon in our intentionally-curated, welcoming space filled with spiritual books, resources, art supplies, prayer studio prompts, and more. Use ideas from the Studio to create your own space at home!
Let the Word of God transform you word by word and verse by verse through Scripture Illustration & Memory. Our classes and resources will inspire you to dive into the Bible—marking words, highlighting key phrases, and identifying themes. Gather your colorful pens, pencils, and art supplies to create verse cards that will encourage long-term memory and application.
The working out of our faith is a daily journey we must intentionally pursue. We regularly share unique Sparks on our blog and social—ideas, tools, resources, encouragement, and more—to inspire you to live on mission for Jesus, whether in your home, community, or around the world. We want to help you answer the question: what can you do today to live a little more like Jesus?
