Shop Local. Shop Friends.

If you have spent much time here lately, you know I love to shop local and shop friends whenever I can. And I love to shine light on great opportunities. In November 2023, my social included some dear friends starting an exciting new business and some other friends closing down their local business after just 4 years – all in the SAME few hours.

So this is my practical encouragement to do what you can, when you can to support your friends, family, neighbors, and even acquaintances in their business endeavors! These are some of my friends and the businesses and services they offer. Please check them out as you shop and choose vendors and services!

And if you can’t support with dollars, go give them a like, follow, or comment—easy, simple, and it might just win you a free t-shirt or a free fair-trade chocolate bar for being a small shop’s biggest Facebook fan (thanks Fair Trade Marketplace)!
